What does a Carousel Volunteer do?
- Greet our guests and make sure everyone feels welcome.
- Ring up gift shop sales, ticket sales on the cash register, or run the Carousel.
- Answer questions about the Carousel’s history, and about Saranac Lake.
- Enjoy yourself! Being a Carousel volunteer is its own reward, seeing the surprise on the faces of little children as they see the Carousel for the first time, hearing the laughter and meeting people who have traveled here from near and far. Your happiness adds to the power of the Carousel to make others happy.
