In 2003 the Carousel received a grant to have local songwriters submit "Songs for the Carousel." Twelve were selected and featured at a live performance. The resulting CD is offered for sale with all proceeds going directly to The Adirondack Carousel fundraising campaign. Ranging in style, all are about carousels, and have a heart-felt, home grown feel. Many feature the Carousel animals (otter, bear and blackfly). |
